Day 01: TRIVANDRUM - KANYAKUMARI

0830 hrs pick up from your hotel at Trivandrum or Kovalam beach, drive to Padmanabhapuram palace (60 kms 2 hrs). 1030 hrs . visit Padmanabhapuram palace, the seat of the Southern Kerala rulers of Travancore. One of the largest existing wodden palaces in the world. ( footwears must be removed before entering the palace) photo graphy is permitted with an extra fee. 12 noon drive to Kanyakumari (40 kms 1 hr 30 mts),on arrival we will break for lunch (at own cost). Post lunch take the ferry to Vivekanda rock memorial by 1500 hrs return to ferry station and do a walking tour around the Kanyakumari temple ( Virgin Goddess temple) southern tip of Indian main land and Mahatma Gandhi memorium. 1700 hrs return to Trivandrum/ Kovalam 2000 hrs Arrive Trivandrunm
